Dumont Pattern No. 1 Tweezers

Swiss Made For general use, assembly and inspection work. Pattern No. 1 Tweezers feature tapered shanks with beveled edges, and sharp, plain-finished points. Overall length 120mm (4-3/4"). Tips are 0.15mm wide by 0.20mm thick. The different grades of the tweezers: The High Precision (HP) line of Dumont Tweezers has extensive hand finishing, and is considered Dumont's finest quality grade of tweezers.  These are the tweezers that the finest watchmakers in the world use.  Dumont Electronic Quality (EQ) Stainless Steel Tweezers from Switzerland. With less hand finishing than High-Precision tweezers, electronic quality tweezers are made for assembly work.  EQ quality tweezers are an excellent choice for everyday use. Choose from 6 metals: 157.200  Dumont HP Carbon #1 - For high strength and durability Carbon Steel is the strongest of the metals used to make Dumont Tweezers. Carbon steel will rust, so care must be taken to protect carbon steel tweezers in use and storage. Store carbon steel tweezers with a light coating of oil, or under a protective lightly oiled cloth. Carbon Steel is also magnetic. With proper care, carbon steel tweezers will hold an edge and stay sharp longer than stainless steel tweezers. 157.201  Dumont HP Stainless #1 Inox - For strength and corrosion & acid resistant Stainless Steel (Dumont INOX) is the most popular metal choice for Dumont Tweezers. Although not as strong as carbon steel, stainless steel resists rusting while still delivering a long lasting edge.   157.202  Dumont HP Anti Acid/Mag SS #1 - Stainless Steel Dumoxel, Non-magnetic, corrosion & acid resistant Anti-Magnetic Stainless Steel-Dumont Dumoxel is a non-magnetic, corrosion and acid resistant material made for industrial situations when it's characteristics are necessary.   157.203  Dumont HP Dumostar #1 Dumostar line of tweezers from Dumont are made of a special super-hard alloy that has been hardened to a minimum Rockwell 61. With careful use the Dumostar tweezers will keep their points almost indefinitely. Dumostar tweezers are magnetic-resistant (anti-magnetic), and acid and rust resistant. This is the top of the line alloy in the Dumont line, combining the best traits from the other alloys used in making Dumont tweezers.   157.249  Dumont EQ Stainless #1 Inox - For strength, corrosion & acid resistant Stainless Steel Dumont INOX is the most popular metal choice for Dumont Tweezers. Although not as strong as carbon steel, stainless steel resists rusting while still delivering a long lasting edge. 157.516  Dumont EQ Anti Acid/Mag SS #1 - Mild strength, anti-magnetic, corrosion & acid resistant Anti-Magnetic Stainless Steel-Dumont Dumoxel is a non-magnetic, corrosion and acid resistant material made for industrial situations when it's characteristics are necessary.
