DSSC Helper Utility Line

DSSC Helper Utility Line Dog Sport Supply Co. · 1" Wide · 4' Long · Looped Ends · Green, Blue or Orange The DSSC Helper Utility Line puts distance between you and the toy so you can bring it to life. Clip on your tug, wedge, or bite pad and animate it from a safe reach — darting, dragging, and snapping the prey away from the dog to build drive and sharpen prey instinct on every rep. Built by trainers, trusted by professionals, and made to take daily work. Animate from a safe distance: The 4-foot length keeps your hands clear while you drive the toy or wedge. Give the prey real, believable movement without putting your fingers in the strike zone. Builds drive on every rep: Snap the toy away, let it flee, then let the dog win. That prey-then-catch cycle is what sharpens prey instinct and locks in a full, committed grip — the line makes it repeatable rep after rep. Secure looped ends: Sewn loops at both ends give you a fast, reliable connection to the toy and a solid handle to hold. No fumbling with clips mid-drill — loop it and go. Durable, daily-driver build: Made to survive drags, whip-arounds, and hard tug resets session after session. This is a working line, not a toy that frays after a week. 1" webbing you can grip: The full 1-inch width fills your hand for control and hangs on through a hard pull, even with gloves on. Pick your color: Choose green, blue, or orange — color-code your gear or run high-visibility orange so the line is easy to track in the grass. Specs Width 1 inch Length 4 feet Ends Sewn looped ends (both ends) Colors Green, Blue, Orange Brand Dog Sport Supply Co. Best For Drive building, prey work, toy/wedge/bite-pad animation, IGP/Schutzhund, French Ring, PSA, puppy foundation and daily training Quick tip: Loop your wedge or tug on one end and keep the other loop in your hand. Let the prey "flee" along the ground, then feed the win the instant the dog commits — that clean prey-to-catch sequence is what builds a hard, confident grip. Designed by Dog Sport Supply Co. for helpers who build drive one clean rep at a time. FAQs What is the Helper Utility Line for? It lets you animate a toy, wedge, or bite pad from a safe distance. By moving the prey away from the dog and letting it chase, you build drive and sharpen prey instinct on every repetition, then let the dog win to reward a full grip. How long and wide is it? The line is 4 feet long and 1 inch wide — enough length to keep your hands clear of the bite and enough width to grip and control through a hard pull. How do the looped ends work? Both ends have sewn loops. One loop connects fast to your toy or wedge, and the other gives you a solid handle to hold and drive from. No clips to fumble with mid-drill. What colors are available? Green, blue, or orange. Use color to organize your gear, or run orange for high visibility when you're tracking the line across grass or a field. Is it durable enough for daily use? Yes. It's built as a daily-driver working line to hold up to drags, whip-arounds, and repeated tug resets session after session.
