DSSC Handler Line

DSSC Handler Line  Dog Sport Supply Co. · 10' Length · No Handle · Smooth Nylon · Protection-Ready The DSSC Handler Line is the 10-foot line built for protection work — run one on the harness and one on the collar for full control of the dog through the drill. There's no handle to snag on gear, decoys, or the field, and the smooth nylon slides clean if it wraps your leg, so you skip the painful leash burn a rough line leaves behind. Built for protection, versatile enough for everything else. Built by trainers, trusted by professionals. Built for protection training: Run two lines — one clipped to the harness, one to the collar — for complete control during bite work and agitation. Manage the dog through the drive and release exactly when you want to. No handle, no snags: Intentionally handle-free so the line won't catch on gear, a decoy, or anything on the field. It feeds and drops clean instead of hanging up at the worst moment. Smooth nylon, no leash burn: The smooth nylon slides instead of grabbing if the line wraps around your leg or runs through your hand — so you avoid the painful burn a textured or rough line can leave. 10 feet of working length: Enough line to give the dog room to work and drive while keeping you in control of the pick-up and the out. Versatile beyond protection: The same qualities that make it a great protection line — length, clean feed, no handle — make it useful for recall, long-line work, and general training too. Daily-training durable: Built to take repeated protection sessions and hard resets without wearing out. Work the harness line during the bite and drive, and keep the collar line for control on the out and the pick-up. Two clean, handle-free lines give you full management of the dog without anything snagging mid-drill. Designed by Dog Sport Supply Co. for handlers who need clean, reliable control when the work gets serious. FAQs Why doesn't it have a handle? The Handler Leash is intentionally handle-free so it won't catch on gear, a decoy, or anything on the field. A handle is one more thing to snag at the wrong moment — without it, the line feeds and drops clean. Will it burn my leg or hand if it wraps around? The smooth nylon is chosen to slide rather than grab, so if the line wraps your leg or runs through your hand it moves clean instead of leaving the painful burn a rough line can cause. How do I use two lines for protection work? Clip one line to the dog's harness and one to the collar. The harness line manages the dog through the bite and drive, and the collar line gives you control on the out and the pick-up — together they give you full control of the drill. How long is it? 10 feet — enough length to let the dog work and drive while keeping you in control of the line. Is it only for protection? No. It's built for protection work but versatile enough for recall, long-line work, and general training thanks to its length, clean feed, and handle-free design.
