DSSC All Weather Jacket

DSSC All-Weather Performance Jacket Water Resistant · Wind Resistant · Durable Fabric · Built for Training, Work & Everyday Wear You're outside in every condition your dog trains in, so your gear needs to keep up. The DSSC All-Weather Performance Jacket is built for handlers who spend hours in the field regardless of weather — a water resistant, wind resistant shell with the pocket layout and durability to handle real training days, not just look the part. Whether you're running decoys, working a trial site, or just getting through a Minnesota winter with the dog, this jacket is built to work as hard as you do. Water resistant & wind resistant shell: Stands up to rain, wind, and field conditions without slowing you down. Durable, abrasion resistant fabric: Built to handle repeated field use, decoy work, and rough handling — not a fair-weather jacket. Six-pocket layout: Two chest zipper pockets, two hand pockets, one sleeve zipper pocket, and a full-width rear pocket give you dedicated storage for treats, leads, whistles, and gear without digging around. Front D-ring attachment point: Clip on tools, keys, or accessories you need within reach. Mesh-lined internal pocket: Additional secure storage inside the jacket for anything you don't want exposed to the weather. Adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs: Customizable, secure fit that keeps wind and rain out at the wrist. Full front zipper with snap storm flap: Extra weather sealing down the front where it matters most. Adjustable hood: Stays put in wind and rain when you need coverage. Best for: Field training, decoy work, trial days, everyday wear Pocket Layout — What Goes Where Chest zipper pockets (2): Secure storage for essentials you need quick access to — phone, treats, clicker. Hand pockets (2): Standard zippered pockets to keep hands warm and belongings secure. Sleeve zipper pocket: Quick-access pocket on the sleeve for small items you reach for constantly during a session. Rear pocket: Full-width, hook-and-loop closure. Built to carry bulkier gear without shifting around while you move. Internal pocket: Mesh-lined, tucked inside the jacket for anything you want kept dry and out of sight. Quick tip: Use the front D-ring for gear you need to grab fast — a whistle or a lead clip — not for anything you're not okay losing if it snags on cover or equipment during decoy work. Designed by Dog Sport Supply Co. for handlers who train, work, and trial outdoors year-round. FAQs Is this jacket actually waterproof, or just water resistant? Water resistant. It's built to handle rain, wind, and typical field conditions during a training session, but it's not rated for prolonged submersion or heavy sustained downpour like a fully waterproof shell. For most field training, trial, and everyday use, the water resistant shell combined with the storm flap and adjustable hood is more than enough coverage. Can I wear this for decoy or bite work, not just casual training? Yes. The durable, abrasion resistant fabric is built to hold up to the kind of rough handling that comes with decoy and protection work, and the pocket layout keeps gear secure and out of the way during movement. It's not bite equipment itself, but it's built to survive being around it. What's the difference between the rear pocket and the internal pocket? The rear pocket is external, full-width, and closes with hook-and-loop — good for bulkier items you want quick access to. The internal pocket is mesh-lined and sits inside the jacket, better suited for anything you want kept dry, secure, and out of view. Does the hood detach? The hood is attached and adjustable rather than removable. It's designed to stay in place through wind and rain without needing to zip or snap it on separately before you head out. Is this jacket true to size? The jacket is built with a standard fit that layers well over a base layer or light sweatshirt for cold-weather training. If you plan to layer heavily underneath, consider sizing up.
