DS3231 RTC Real Time Clock Module with AT24C32 Memory I2C for Arduino

The DS3231 module is a low-cost, high-precision I2C real-time clock (RTC), featuring an integrated temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) and crystal for superior accuracy. Ideal for electronics hobbyists, DIY enthusiasts, IoT developers, and small manufacturers, this module provides reliable timekeeping for a wide range of projects. It includes an onboard battery backup (CR2032 NOT INCLUDED) and maintains accurate timekeeping even when power to the module is interrupted. The RTC tracks seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year information. The date at the end of the month is automatically adjusted for months with fewer than 31 days, including correction for leap years. The clock operates in either the 24-hour or 12-hour format with an AM/PM indicator. Two programmable time-of-day alarms and a programmable square-wave output are provided for flexible control. Address and data are transferred serially through an I2C bidirectional bus. A precision temperature-compensated voltage reference and comparator circuit monitors the status of VCC to detect power failures, to provide a reset output, and to automatically switch to the backup supply when necessary. The AT24C32 provides 32K of EEPROM storage for your project's data logging or configuration needs. DS3231 Features Accurate & Reliable Timekeeping: DS3231 RTC module maintains precise seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year, ensuring your projects stay on schedule. Uninterrupted Operation with Battery Backup: Onboard battery holder (CR2032 NOT INCLUDED) provides continuous timekeeping even during power outages, preventing data loss. Automatic Leap Year Correction: Forget manual adjustments! This module automatically compensates for leap years up to 2100, ensuring long-term accuracy. Versatile Programmability: Features two independent time-of-day alarms and a programmable square-wave output for advanced timing and synchronization applications. Easy Integration with Arduino & Microcontrollers: Utilizes a simple I2C interface for seamless communication with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other popular platforms.
