CVR RE Eduardo Garcia  ISSUE #2: THE BIRTH OF A HUNTER What Happens When the Victim Becomes Something Worse Than Her Abusers? THE HOOK Mary Jo has crawled out of her own grave with supernatural powers and an uncontrollable hunger. But she's retained her humanity—her memories, her personality, her capacity for both love and rage. Now she faces a choice that will define what kind of monster she becomes: Will she be consumed by vengeance, or will she forge a new path entirely? THE CONFRONTATION Alex thinks his ritual worked perfectly—that Mary Jo has returned as his obedient undead slave. He's about to discover just how wrong he is. When predator meets predator, only one will walk away. But the real horror isn't in their violent confrontation—it's in what Mary Jo discovers about Alex's true activities and the vast network he's connected to. GENRE-DEFINING STORYTELLING Dead Sexy takes the "final girl" trope and turns it inside out. Mary Jo isn't just surviving horror—she's becoming something that makes other monsters afraid. This isn't your typical zombie resurrection story. Issue #2 explores the psychological aftermath of trauma, transformation, and the seductive nature of power through a supernatural lens that makes abstract concepts viscerally real. How do you maintain your humanity when you're no longer human? There are no easy answers in Mary Jo's world. Every choice comes with consequences, every victory demands sacrifice, and the line between justice and vengeance becomes increasingly blurred. The evolving connection between Mary Jo and Josh explores themes of love, acceptance, and moral corruption in ways that will leave readers questioning their own ethical boundaries. Dead Sexy operates on multiple levels—as a supernatural thriller, social commentary, and character study. This isn't just the story of a monster—it's the story of someone choosing what kind of monster to become. The question isn't whether Mary Jo will survive. The question is what she'll become in the process. And whether anyone else will survive what she becomes.
