You will need a leather panel that is 44.3cm by 24cm for the Body (~18 by 10 inches). It will also work with 2mm (5oz) leather if you must, just make sure it is not too stiff. > Leather for the Skull & Bones: 1.2-1.4mm thickness (3-3.5oz)   Pattern specific tools/materials: > 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 5mm, 10mm and 15mm hole punches > 1 x button stud – 8mm cap size - for the closure. Alternatively, you may use a snap button up to 12.5mm in diameter. > 2 x 20mm D-rings   Strap Option A: a purse chain between 100cm and 130cm long. Those are available in many variations online when searching for a “purse chain”. They usually come with swivel clasp buckles already attached to them. Given the theme and that the bag is relatively light, this option would be my personal preference. :)   Strap Option B: a leather strap with a buckle. You will need: > 2.4-2.5mm thickness (6oz) for the strap. The strap is 20mm (4/5inches) wide and you need two pieces – one that is 48cm (~19in) long and one that is 90cm (~35in) long. > 1 x 20mm whole belt buckle, 2 x 20mm swivel clasp buckles and 4mm hole punch.   Basic Instructions > Print pattern at 100% scale and verify size using the Print Accuracy Test. Measure and cut on the outside edge of the lines. > Stitching holes are spaced at 3.85mm and are 3.5mm off the edges. Note that the spacing may differ slightly here and there due to the curves and irregular shapes of the Skull and Bones > Review the Assembly Instructions file in full before commencing with the build.   ===== THE BATTEN TRAYS =====   The Batten Dimensions: ~12/12/4cm (~4.7/4.7/1.6 inches) Capacity: throw in your wallet, keys, coins or whatever is in your pockets when you get home. Or it can even be a good companion for your work bench to hold some small tools or materials.   The Mini Batten Dimensions: ~6/6/2cm (~2.4/42.4/0.8 inches) Capacity: can be used as jewelry or coins tray as well as to keep in leather craft materials such as snap buttons, key rings, rivets etc.   Skill level: Beginner Recommended leather: > 1.6-1.8mm thickness (4-4.5 oz), medium to stiff temper No stitching, glue or snap buttons required. :) Pattern specific tools/materials: 2mm and 4mm hole punches   ===== THE HALLOWEEN KEY FOBS ===== > Skill level: Advanced (due to the detailed cutting required on some of the key fobs) or Intermediate for the “Keep it simple” versions that lack some of the details > Leather: Go wild! Just consider that some of the cutting may be very difficult or impossible with thicker leathers. On the contrary if you want to use very thin leathers, consider adding a middle layer with the same shape as the key fob to give it more weight and substance.   The Tombstone Dimensions: 7/4cm (~2.75/1.6 inches) excluding the keyring Pattern specific tools/materials: Letter stamps if you will stamp R.I.P lettering otherwise none   The Pumpkin Dimensions: 5.5/5cm (~2.2/2 inches) excluding the keyring Pattern specific tools/materials: 1mm & 2mm hole punches if you will cut out the eyes and grin, otherwise none.   The Skull Dimensions: 6/4.5cm (~2.4/1.8 inches) excluding the keyring Pattern specific tools/materials: 3mm, 7mm and 10mm hole punches if you will cut out the eyes and nose, otherwise none. (6mm and 9mm will also work good instead of the 7 & 10)   The Ghost Dimensions: 8/5cm (~3.1/2 inches) excluding the keyring Pattern specific tools/materials: 6mm hole punch if you will cut out the eyes, otherwise none.   The Coffin Dimensions: 8/3.8cm (~3.1/1.5 inches) excluding the keyring Pattern specific tools/materials: 3mm hole punch if you will cut out the cross, otherwise none.   The Monster Dimensions: 7.5/4.5cm (~2.9/1.8 inches) excluding the keyring   Note: Stitching holes in the patterns are 3.5mm from the edge and illustrative in nature. They work well with 3.85mm irons however may vary slightly due to curves and sharp turns on the different patterns.     ===== USES ===== > If you are a 1-person small leather crafting business you can sell as many products as you want that you made using these patterns, otherwise please consider them for personal use only. > Selling or distributing the patterns via any means for commercial or non-commercial purposes is forbidden. > Non-handmade, mass production via any means is not allowed. > If you have any questions regarding the pattern or the build, feel free to reach out to me via www.instagram.com/dsleathergoods > If you post any of the products you have created using the patterns on social media, please always credit my Instagram account and/or my Etsy shop   ===== YOU WILL RECEIVE ===== An archive .zip folder with the printable PDF patterns in US Letter and A4 paper sizes.
