Marimbata - This is a new twist on the traditional cajon, a box drum found in Africa and in the Caribbean Islands; 5 metal tongues, like large "bass kalimba" have been added to give bass tones as found on the marimbula, and there are 2 drum heads on opposite sides for a bata effect. Sounds from slaps and high tones to bass sounds are possible on this drum, and the metal tongues are adjustable for tuning to specific pitches. 21"x15"x12". Sound Sample Sound Sample
