Droe Blaar Panel

Inspired by history and nature, the Droe Blaar Linen Wall Panel (meaning "dry leaf" in Afrikaans) captures the beauty of aged botanical prints through a contemporary lens. This exquisite design originates from rare lithograph stamps preserved in the archives of SANBI—a tribute to the historic printmaking process pioneered by Bavarian author Aloys Senefelder in 1796. These captivating visuals were originally featured in the 1930s editions of Landbou Weekblad, South Africa’s renowned agricultural magazine. The metal-plated wooden blocks used for these prints were later donated to a museum in the 1950s, where they remained hidden treasures until rediscovered by our team. Printed on high-quality linen with a built-in loop for easy hanging on a rod, the Droe Blaar Wall Panel pays homage to heritage craftsmanship while adding an organic, textural elegance to any interior space.
