It allows the driver to keep both hands on the steering wheel and avoid tiring and dropping a grip and then leaning too far to either side to rest. Wrists can be held in the natural straight position while steering keeping veins open allowing blood flow freely to the hand. The elbow and shoulder are supported relieving the constant weight of the driver's arm. The cushion does not attach to anything so it can be easily switched to either left or right side. Each 18" cushion provides two heights - 4" and 6" heights. The fabric cover is made of either upholstery chenille, velour or faux suede and is slip resistant. Each cushion is treated with Scotch Guard to resist liquids and soil. Dry clean or use a damp cloth to spot clean. Truck drivers and pilots arrive less tired, too. Makes a great gift for knitters, crochet, hand sewers and lap needlework. The cushion can raise and support your arms to HELP PREVENT that tired stiff muscle pain that comes from sitting for long periods at a computer or playing video games. Support your arms between your chair and the keyboard to reduce tired neck muscles. Shift as needed for personal comfort. Use the cushion across your lap to support your arms and enjoy lap needle work with less back and shoulder pain. Fabric colors shown may appear different depending on your screen resolution.
