Dried Forest Blend Mushrooms

Forest Blend Dried Mushrooms are a great way to sample the earthy flavors of five different varieties of exotic, wild mushrooms. This combination of dried Shiitake, Porcini, Oyster, Bolete and Wood Ear mushrooms offers five different layers of flavor. Dried mushrooms deliver a much more concentrated flavor than fresh mushrooms and make for a convenient, economical alternative to fresh. Not to mention, fresh wild mushrooms can be hard to come by!  Rehydrated mushrooms have a firm texture similar to fresh. To rehydrate, steep in hot water or broth for 15 minutes, then dab dry, chop and start cooking! And be sure to hold onto the steeping liquid. Add it to soups, stews or sauces for big flavor. Use it as your cooking liquid for rice or polenta.  Ingredients: porcini, wood ear, oyster, bolete and shiitake mushrooms 0.6 ounce bag
