Dragonfly Percussion Auster Mallet (AUS)

This listing comes with one Dragonfly Mallet for Singing Bowls. Designed in collaboration with sound healer and author Sara Auster, the Dragonfly Percussion Auster Mallet for Singing Bowls is designed for both striking and singing a variety of singing bowls. It is constructed of tightly stacked layers of suede on one side and a silicone disc on the other with a hand-turned cork grip between the two sides. This mallet has a super light-weight feel and plays exceptionally well on alchemy crystal singing bowls, as well as frosted crystal, and metal bowls. The suede column creates a clear, pristine sound when struck against the wall of singing bowls. The suede is firm enough for a super quick response, but soft enough for a warm, luscious sound and is safe for striking even thin-walled crystal bowls. It also effortlessly sings the bowls when rubbed along the lip or side. While the silicone disc on the opposite end elicits a silky, seamless sustained sound from your bowls when rubbed along the wall of singing bowls. “For many years, I used the standard white tube mallet that’s typically included with most crystal singing bowls. However, the instruments themselves are so special— so unique and elegant that I always longed for an implement or tool that matched the beauty and quality of the singing bowls. The new Dragonfly Auster Mallet is beyond what I even dreamed. The silicone disc and stacked suede sound amazing on both crystal and metal bowls and the cork feels super soft and comfortable in your hand. This mallet will enhance your bowl playing and elevate the aesthetic of your sound bath set up-it is truly a work of art!” -Sara Auster If you're looking for new mallets for your sound healing toolkit, this mallet is great for spiritual healers, sound therapists, yoga instructors, and anyone working with singing bowls in their mindfulness practice.
