Just like us humans, your dog’s digestive system is filled with natural bacteria. There are essentially two types of bacteria: good and bad. This balance of bacteria is critical to your dog’s immune system, vital to a strong gut, and promotes a calm and happy mood. The problem is, when your dog has too much bad gut bacteria, this can trigger stinky breath, messy poops, tummy trouble, itchy skin, anxious moods, and more serious health issues down the road. In fact, some veterinarians believe this gut imbalance is the root cause of 80% of the illnesses that are diagnosed at the veterinary clinic.1 So a balanced gut is the key to your dog’s health, happiness, and healthy lifespan.
