Dr KDSS Track Bar For Tacoma (2024-Current)

What It Is One of the lightest and strongest track bar on the market for KDSS-equipped and non kdss Toyotas and Lexus platforms — period. Now available in two sizes to cover both previous and current generation platforms, this updated design features a 1 1/4” solid 7075 billet aluminum bar (upgraded from 1 1/8”) and 7/8” Pro Bearing heims for increased strength, durability, and articulation. This isn’t just an upgrade — it’s built for people who actually use their rigs. ⸻ Why It Matters • Fully adjustable to recenter your axle after a lift • ~40% lighter than OEM track bar • As strong as top chromoly bars — without the weight • Upgraded 7/8” heims for improved articulation and durability • Designed to flex under load and return to true without permanent bending ⸻ Design & Materials • Machined from solid 7075 billet aluminum (not hollow tubing) • Updated to 1.25” diameter for increased strength • Upgraded to 7/8” Pro Bearing chromoly heims (previously 3/4”) • Includes in-house machined stainless steel misalignment spacers • CNC-machined and anodized for corrosion resistance • Engraved DRKDSS logo near the heim joint ⸻ Weight & Strength Compared to OEM and typical aftermarket options: • OEM Track Bar: ~7 lbs • Typical Chromoly Track Bar: ~8.5–9 lbs • DRKDSS Track Bar: ~5.2 lbs Result: • ~40% lighter than OEM • Comparable strength to chromoly • Less unsprung weight, better performance ⸻ Why 7075 Aluminum 7075 aluminum is used in aerospace and race applications for its strength-to-weight ratio. This material allows the bar to: • Flex up to 6–7% under load • Return to perfectly straight without permanent deformation • Handle repeated abuse without fatigue ⸻ Color Options • Hardcoat Anodized • Black • Red • Gold • Blue • Clear Anodized • Blemished options available (minor cosmetic imperfections only — fully functional) Note: Due to the nature of anodizing 7075 aluminum, slight tonal variations or “water marks” are normal. ⸻   Install Notes While on the ground. Install is straight forward. Unbolt each bolt from oem track bar.  Slide track bar in place of oem bar.  Install frame side bolt first then work on the axle side. If things are not lining up perfectly.  Get a hydraulic jack stand under the axle and jack up axle on one side to help align the track bar bolt and track bar. Torque to 125lbs ⸻ Real Talk If you want the best, this is it. You’re not buying a budget part — you’re buying something designed to perform under real use. From billet stock to final machining, every detail is built for people who actually wheel their rigs. Pay to play.
