DOWSIL WBS 758 Silicone Weather Barrier Sealant is a high-performance, neutral-cure, one-part silicone sealant specifically formulated for adhering to low-energy surfaces such as peel-and-stick or sheet-type weather-resistant barriers. It delivers excellent adhesion without priming to a wide range of difficult substrates including polyethylene films, spun-bonded polyolefins, and liquid-applied or sheet-applied WRBs. Ideal for use in sealing laps, penetrations, and fenestration transitions, this medium modulus sealant contributes to airtightness and long-term durability of building envelope systems. The sealant cures at room temperature when exposed to atmospheric moisture and forms a flexible, UV-resistant, non-cracking rubber seal. It accommodates joint movement up to ±25% and offers strong adhesion to materials such as anodized aluminum, vinyl, powder-coated or Kynar-coated aluminum, and concrete (with primer). DOWSIL WBS 758 is suited for interior or weather-facing joints that don’t require aesthetic finishing but demand reliable, weather-tight seals in energy-efficient designs.
