DOWSIL 756 SMS 20oz Sausage

DOWSIL 756 SMS Building Sealant is a high-performance, medium-modulus, elastomeric silicone sealant designed specifically for weatherproofing porous stone and metal panel substrates. Its proprietary neutral-cure formulation produces a sleek, matte finish that resists residue run-down, dirt pickup, and substrate staining, ensuring lasting aesthetic appeal on both new and remedial construction projects. Engineered for durability and performance, DOWSIL 756 SMS accommodates ±50% joint movement and adheres unprimed to most common substrates such as glass, brick, granite, and fluoropolymer-painted surfaces. For challenging substrates like marble, limestone, and concrete, it forms strong bonds when used with primer. The sealant’s excellent weatherability and non-reverting silicone chemistry ensure long-term flexibility, UV stability, and resistance to environmental stress. It maintains smooth application and easy tooling in temperatures ranging from -29°C to 50°C (-20°F to 122°F), making it suitable for year-round installation. Compatible with a wide range of backer rods and available in standard, special, and custom colors, DOWSIL 756 SMS provides architects and contractors with both design freedom and reliability. Applications include expansion and control joints, curtain walls, perimeter seals, and natural stone joints where long-term watertight protection is essential.
