FAQs - Douxo Calm Micro-Emulsion Spray for Pets How does micro-emulsion technology work in pet skin sprays? These droplets penetrate deeply through intercellular spaces, ensuring prolonged delivery of therapeutic agents to restore the skin barrier and reduce inflammation effectively. Can Douxo Calm Spray be used on open wounds? Douxo Calm Spray should not be applied to open wounds. It is designed for irritated, itchy, or inflamed skin and may cause discomfort or delay healing if applied to broken skin. Consult a veterinarian for appropriate wound care. Is Douxo Calm Spray safe for daily use? While safe for pets, Douxo Calm Spray is typically recommended for use every 3-4 days unless directed otherwise by a veterinarian. Daily use may not be necessary and could over-saturate the skin. Always follow your vet’s advice. Does this spray help with chronic skin conditions? Douxo Calm Spray can support management of chronic conditions like atopic dermatitis or allergic skin reactions by calming inflammation and restoring the skin barrier. For severe or persistent issues, consult your veterinarian for a comprehensive treatment plan. What types of pets can use Douxo Calm Spray? Always consult a veterinarian before use on animals like rabbits, ferrets, or exotic species. How long does it take to see results with Douxo Calm Spray? The timeframe may vary based on the severity of the condition and whether the spray is combined with other treatments like Douxo Calm Shampoo. Is this spray effective against skin parasites? Douxo Calm Spray does not directly treat skin parasites like fleas or mites. It helps manage irritation caused by allergic reactions or secondary infections resulting from parasite activity. Use appropriate anti-parasitic treatments alongside this spray. Can Douxo Calm Spray prevent future skin issues?
