Double Width Log Cabin Blanket

Double Width Log Cabin Blanket This cozy Log Cabin throw is woven using a double width technique, allowing a full-size blanket to come off a relatively narrow loom—with no seaming required. As the fabric opens off the loom, the transformation feels nothing short of magical, revealing a beautifully balanced Color-and-Weave pattern across the full width of the cloth. Woven with rustic Mallo Cotton Slub, the thick-and-thin texture adds depth, warmth, and a wonderfully tactile hand, making this blanket an instant heirloom. The classic Log Cabin structure invites creativity, and the pattern lends itself beautifully to endless color variations—perfect for weaving again and again with a fresh palette each time. Pattern downloads include instructions for both rigid heddle and shaft looms, making this an exciting challenge for experienced weavers ready to explore advanced techniques and dramatic results.
