Double Pleats Border Trousers - Ivory

Originally founded in 2006, Attractions began as a vintage reseller, importing pieces from the United States and the UK before starting their own production in 2011. Their experience in the vintage world provided them with the knowledge and inspiration necessary to develop their own styles, growing into an impressive and very special brand in a market saturated with alternatives. With a deliberate focus on highly specific and often obscure styles from the last hundred years, Attractions produce some truly stellar and unique pieces, occupying a stylistic wheelhouse closely adjacent to "biker" but plainly distinct from other similar repro brands. Inspired by the progression of youth culture and style, Attractions infuse their own perspective into both the pieces they design, and the ways they design them. We love a good pair of pants with a crease! Inspired by vintage pleated slacks, these are an old school dressy trouser made more casual by its loose fit and tonal stripe linen fabric. They're cut with a nice high rise and relaxed top block, with fairly wide legs that taper just a bit down to a still fairly considerable leg opening. These pants take their name (and fit) from the four peats on the front face of the top block, which help give more shape through the hips while adding a touch of formality. They're made from a medium weight linen fabric with subtle irregularities in the weave and a low-contrast horizontal stripe pattern throughout. It's a handsome blend of light beige and warm ivory colored yarns, with a soft hand and easy drape throughout. They're finished simply, with all the details we'd expect and nothing more - a zip fly with hidden hook and button, four external pockets, custom woven labels, and deep pressed creases. Fits true to size.
