Double Leaf Earrings - Gold/Chalcedony, India

These beautiful earrings are handmade out of recycled gold-plated metal in a women's cooperative in India. They feature a semi-precious aqua chalcedony stone in the middle, creating a stunning, unique design. Measures approximately 1.5" long, not including ear wire. Recycled metals; nickel-free. ABOUT THE ARTISANS This piece of jewelry was handcrafted by talented female artisans in a fair trade cooperative in India. The artisans are paid 3x the minimum wage, receive health insurance and have access to educational scholarships.  The women are victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault, and working in fair trade cooperatives has helped them not only become self-sufficient but has provided them with a new sense of dignity.
