Double Jointed Stainless Steel Roller Loose Ring

The Double Jointed Stainless Steel Roller Loose Ring Bit features a double-jointed mouthpiece for even pressure distribution, greater mobility, and improved comfort, combined with a stainless steel roller that encourages tongue engagement and discourages leaning. The loose ring design allows the rings to move independently, creating a more flexible feel. Ideal for horses that go well with a double-jointed roller mouthpiece and more movement through the cheekpiece. Key Features of the Double Jointed Mouthpiece : Even Pressure Distribution: The two joints with a center link reduce palate pressure and distributes contact more evenly across the tongue, bars, and corners of the mouth. Tongue Pressure Variation: The size and shape of the center link influence how much tongue pressure is applied, making it adaptable for horses with different mouth conformations. Greater Mobility: The design allows the mouthpiece to move more freely than a single joint, improving comfort and reducing resistance in many horses. Key Features of the Stainless Steel Roller: Encourages Interaction: The movable stainless steel roller invites the horse to engage with the bit, helping keep the mouth active and attentive. Promotes Tongue Engagement: The rolling action encourages the horse to interact with the bit using its tongue, which may improve focus and mouthing. Discourages Grabbing or Leaning: The roller’s movement can make it harder for the horse to lock against or lean on the bit, promoting a lighter, more supple connection. Loose Ring Design Features : Increased Flexibility : The loose ring design allows the bit rings to move independently, minimizing pressure on the horse’s mouth and encouraging relaxation. Adaptive Control : The strength and effectiveness of the bit vary depending on factors such as material, thickness, and overall design. Pinch Prevention : For horses with sensitive mouth corners, rubber bit rings can be added to prevent pinching and increase comfort.
