Hoffman Guide

The Hoffman Double-Insulated Guide is the premier choice for the late-season sportsman who demands maximum warmth without the cumbersome bulk of a traditional heavy-duty pac boot. Handcrafted with Idaho-made leather uppers, this boot provides a "best-of-both-worlds" solution: the high-performance mobility of a mountain boot paired with the extreme thermal protection of a pac. Hoffman Double-Insulated Guide: The Apex of Thinsulate Thermal Protection Designed specifically for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts who spend long, stationary hours in frigid temperatures, the Guide is the warmest Thinsulate-lined pac boot in the Hoffman lineup. It offers the flexibility and "forgiveness" that hunters love in a pac boot, while maintaining the rugged durability required for the backcountry. Engineered for Extreme Cold The Guide utilizes a sophisticated double-insulation system to ensure your hunt isn't cut short by the cold: Double-Insulated Barrier: By layering high-loft Thinsulate™ throughout the boot, we’ve created a thermal shield that traps body heat while remaining significantly lighter and less bulky than felt-lined alternatives. Premium Idaho Craftsmanship: The uppers are built in Kellogg, Idaho, using 7-7.5 oz. premium oil-tanned contour leather. This high-quality leather provides superior ankle support and is shaped to follow the natural curve of your leg for immediate comfort. Hardware that Lasts: Equipped with solid brass hooks and eyelets that won't rust or fail when exposed to the moisture and salt of winter environments. The Sportsman’s Choice for Mobility The Guide is ideal for the hunter who needs to stay mobile but requires "stationary-level" warmth: Lightweight Warmth: Perfect for those who find traditional heavy pac boots too restrictive. The Guide provides the warmth needed for a long glassing session or a cold trek without the "anchor" feel on your feet. Custom Height Options: Available in 10", 12", and 14" heights, allowing you to choose the perfect level of protection for deep snow or marshy terrain. Refined Flex: The pac-style construction offers more "give" than a rigid mountaineering boot, making it easier to navigate varied terrain quietly. Fit and Versatility Sizing Recommendation: Unlike our felt-lined models, we suggest ordering a 1/2 size up if you typically wear a half-size. (Example: A size 10.5 wearer should move up to an 11). USA-Made Uppers: Proudly featuring leather uppers made right here in the USA, ensuring the highest quality control and material standards.
