Ghana Cacao Bean Origin - Volta River, Ghana. Winding throughout the country, the Volta River gives shape to the lovely landscape of Ghana. The surrounding agricultural area is dotted with small, family-owned farms that produce the very best African cacao for Crio Bru. The dark, earthy-toned beans are carefully selected to enhance the full-bodied chocolate flavor, with hints of coconut and cinnamon.  Uber Dark Cacao Bean Origin  - The coca river winds through a rainforest paradise in southern Ecuador until it feeds into the expansive Amazon river. Nearby, a village called Vilcabamba is famous for the longevity of its people, many living more than a century. Grown in the black soil of this rainforest valley, the Ecuadorian cacao bean produces the boldest and chocolatiest Crio Bru, with notes of green banana and blackberries. There are many wonderful cacao varieties in Nicaragua for making chocolate but we have selected this particular one for its amazing flavor when brewed.
