Investing in Double Blade Squeegees is the ultimate game-changer for owners of automatic screen printing machines. Not only do these squeegees significantly increase the opacity and resolution of your images, but they also turbocharge your printing process. Here's how: Plastisol ink, known for its high viscosity and thickness, poses a challenge when pushing it through a fine mesh with closely spaced threads. Traditionally, screen printers resort to using coarse meshes for underbase printing. However, this compromises the final print resolution, as the quality is tied to the underbase resolution. To overcome this, many printers choose to stroke their images twice, but this consumes valuable time and resources. Enter the Double Blade Squeegee, the ultimate solution. After the flood bar loads ink into the mesh, the first blade of the Double Blade Squeegee pushes the ink through the mesh and onto the substrate. While some ink remains on the screen, the second blade swiftly follows just a fraction of an inch behind, effortlessly pushing the remaining ink through. The result? Sharper resolution, stronger opacity, and a significantly shorter printing time compared to stroking an image twice with a standard squeegee. In fact, screen printing expert Charlie Taublieb conducted a test and observed an astounding 30% increase in output achievable with a Double Blade Squeegee! Even with conservative estimates, if you print a few hours a day, the Double Blade Squeegee pays for itself within a week. Key Features and Benefits: Our Double Blade Squeegees come with 55/90/55 durometer rubber for the front and 62/90/62 durometer rubber for the rear. The second blade enhances ink penetration through small mesh openings while saving valuable time compared to using a single blade for double stroking. Particularly effective for pushing plastisol through fine mesh openings. Standard 16" (40cm) squeegees, while all others are made to order. Double Squeegee Cleaner included for convenient maintenance. Upgrade to our Double Blade Squeegees and experience a dramatic increase in printing speed, enhanced print quality, and significant time savings. Witness the difference for yourself and unleash the full potential of your screen printing operation.
