Dorsum Pad

The VACOped dorsum pad is a specialized EVA foam accessory that fits inside the VACOped walking boot to relieve pressure and prevent sore spots on the top (dorsum) of the foot. What it is: A soft, molded EVA pad designed to sit between the liner and the hard outer shell of the VACOped boot. Why it’s used: Pressure Relief: Reduces pressure points on the bony top of the foot (dorsum) that can cause pain and discomfort. Enhanced Comfort: Prevents rubbing and irritation from the boot’s structure. Better Fit: Helps distribute pressure more evenly, especially with swelling. How it works: It lifts the hard plastic shell slightly away from the sensitive areas on the top of the foot, providing cushioning.
