Dorothy Wycoff Pieris

Dorothy Wycoff Pieris (Pieris japonica 'Dorothy Wycoff')Dorothy Wycoff Pieris is an evergreen shrub that delivers year-round structure with standout seasonal color in part-shade landscapes. It keeps foundation beds and woodland borders looking finished in every season, while adding bold bud color that shows up when many shrubs are quiet. Spring brings a graceful bloom display that softens the plant and adds early interest without extra effort. If you want a dependable evergreen that offers multi-season value in acidic soil, this pieris is a strong fit. Distinctive FeaturesThis selection is prized for deep pink to reddish flower buds that form in fall and persist into winter, adding color through the colder months. In early to mid spring, the buds open into drooping clusters of small, urn-shaped flowers that create a soft, layered bloom display. Glossy dark green evergreen foliage provides a clean backdrop and keeps the plant looking full year-round.
