Dorman Auto Trans Shifter Cable Bracket (MPN: 905-671)

Durable aluminum bracket with double-bolt design for reliable shifting performance. The Dorman Auto Trans Shifter Cable Bracket is engineered to provide a robust solution for the common issues faced with factory-installed shift brackets in certain trucks. Over time, the original equipment shift bracket can become loose or fail due to the stress of repetitive gear selection, often resulting in a sloppy or inoperable shift lever. This upgraded bracket is constructed from a higher grade aluminum alloy, ensuring enhanced durability compared to the soft cast aluminum of the original design. One of the key features of this bracket is its innovative double-bolt design, which effectively distributes the stresses associated with shifting. This design addresses the root causes of failure seen in the original equipment, providing a once-and-done solution that minimizes the risk of future issues. The Dorman bracket is designed to match the fit of the original part, allowing for a straightforward installation process without the need for modifications. In addition to its robust construction, the Dorman Auto Trans Shifter Cable Bracket is compatible with specified Dodge and Ram trucks, making it a reliable choice for those looking to restore their vehicle's shifting performance. This product not only enhances the functionality of the shift lever but also contributes to the overall longevity of the transmission system.
