DoorKing 1815-217 IDTeck RF20 Proximity Reader

IDTeck RF20 Proximity Reader for DoorKing Access Control Systems The DoorKing 1815-217 is a genuine DoorKing replacement proximity reader manufactured by IDTeck, model RF20. This reader is used as a credential input device in compatible DoorKing access control and entry installations, allowing authorized users to present a supported proximity credential to request access. In typical commercial and multi-tenant applications, the reader sends credential data to the DoorKing controller, which then decides whether to grant access and trigger the appropriate gate, door, or relay output. This item is not a standalone reader. It must be connected to a compatible DoorKing access controller or entry system that supports this reader type and wiring. If you are replacing a damaged reader, resolving an intermittent read issue, or restoring credential access at a site, matching the correct reader model helps maintain proper system operation and avoids credential or controller incompatibility.
