Door Knob

This close-up of a porcelain door knob was taken in the town of Gold Hill, Nevada. The town was located on Cleopatra Hill, the most famous and biggest motherload of gold in the West. Though these door knobs were ubiquitous at one time, now they are rarer than the gold that financed them.
