Donation - Project AWARE

We’re Taking a Stand At Shop709, adventure is at the heart of everything we do. But without the oceans, the world that we love to explore will collapse. How It Works Starting on World Oceans Day 2019, Shop709 is increasing its efforts to bring more awareness and financial support to ocean preservation and conservation efforts. With every purchase made on Shop709, you have the opportunity to donate any dollar amount (with a minimum of $1) to Project AWARE®. In turn, Shop709 will match your donation dollar for dollar to boost efforts and increase support. And because we believe that World Oceans Day should be every day, we’re continuing this project throughout the year. So every purchase you make with us, you’ll have the opportunity to double the difference and protect our oceans. What is Project AWARE®? Project AWARE® brings exploration of the Earth’s oceans and preservation efforts together to form a powerful alliance of activists around the globe. Through education and consistent cleanup efforts of our beaches and our oceans, they enlist scuba divers and ocean enthusiasts to lead underwater and topside cleanups for a future in which the ocean no longer needs protecting. By donating to Project AWARE®, you are contributing to on-the-ground efforts to protect vulnerable marine species and decrease pollution.
