A Fun Week at the Police Department--Donation

You Give. We Give. — Donate a Book to a Law Enforcement Agency Join Officer Lambert on a fun and meaningful adventure exploring a week at the police department! When searching for books to read at community events, we realized most children’s books about police work were outdated—missing the modern tools, language, and heart of today’s officers. A Fun Week at the Police Department was created to fill that gap. This book highlights positive community relationships, diverse officers, and the everyday roles that police play in keeping neighborhoods safe. With beautiful illustrations by Janelle Vargo, this book captures the warmth, inclusion, and connection that define true community policing. It’s the perfect read-aloud for school visits, library events, or department open houses. Through our You Give. We Give. campaign, when you purchase a book to donate to a law enforcement agency, we’ll match your donation—doubling the impact. That means for every book you give, we give one too. Thanks to generous community support, over 600 books have already been placed in the hands of officers across the country. Will you help us reach the next 100? Your donation puts a powerful tool in the hands of officers ready to connect with the children in their communities.
