Joerns Dolphin Fluid Immersion Simulation Low Profile Mattress System

Dolphin FIS System: Redefining Pressure Redistribution Therapy Are you searching for an advanced therapy mattress system? The Dolphin Fluid Immersion Simulation (FIS) System By Joerns Healthcare is an advanced therapy system designed to provide state-of-the-art pressure redistribution by simulating the effects of a body immersed in a fluid medium. It can handle patients from 500lbs up to 1000lbs depending on the model. Available with different mattress sizes. The Dolphin FIS Mattress System automatically analyzes the patient’s body shape, weight, and pressure points as they lie on the surface. It then adjusts in real-time to create a personalized support level, simulating a near-weightless, floating-like experience that reduces pressure and enhances comfort. Why Dolphin FIS Provides Superior Wound Care Pressure ulcers affect 39% of patients in hospitals and long-term care facilities. The Dolphin Fluid Immersion Simulation (FIS) System offers an innovative solution by addressing one of the main causes of wound formation—soft tissue strain from traditional support surfaces. A Smarter Approach to Pressure Relief with Dolphin Fluid Immersion Mattress Unlike conventional mattresses that force the body to conform to a flat surface, Dolphin adapts to the body. Using advanced algorithms and a microprocessor, the system automatically adjusts to each patient’s unique 3D body shape, ensuring optimal support and pressure redistribution. How Dolphin Fluid Immersion Simulation Mattress System Works The fluid immersion simulation mattress uses smart technology to adjust the surface based on each patient’s body shape. It automatically sets the right support levels to create a floating-like experience for better pressure relief and comfort. Simulates Floating – The system continuously calculates and adjusts the support surface to create a near weightless state, reducing pressure points. Real-Time Adjustments – As the patient moves, Dolphin monitors and adapts, maintaining consistent support without manual intervention. Effortless Operation – Caregivers simply turn on the system, and it does the rest—eliminating the need for complex training and reducing workload, allowing more focus on patient care. The Dolphin Fluid Immersion Simulation (FIS) System includes Dolphin Advanced Support Surface – A specialized therapy mattress that fits most bed frames and redistributes pressure like floating in water. Dolphin AutoVector Control Module – A smart processor that adjusts the mattress in real-time for optimal support. Proprietary Software – Automatically customizes pressure relief based on the patient’s body to improve comfort and healing. The V-Matt Therapy Mattress  The V-Matt Therapy Mattress keeps patients comfortable and protected. It has an air-filled safety layer that prevents sinking if the power goes out for too long. The edges are extra padded with the CairEdge feature, making it softer and safer when getting in and out of bed. Designed for step-deck bed frames, this mattress provides reliable support and pressure relief for better care.
