This design can be crocheted with color changes as you go or cross stitched after finishing the solid background. Dolphin Afghan, Pillow and Toy crochet pattern requires an intermediate crochet skill level for the color changes and sea life designs. Choose to use cross stitch for the designs might make it easier to complete for a lower skill level. The afghan is a small cuddle-sized blanket with the finished dimensions of 39 inches by 46 inches. You can throw the afghan over a small chair or use it as a play mat on the floor.
