DEOXIT DN5S Contact Conditioner and Deoxidizer, 162g Non-Flammable Aerosol

DeoxIT® Non-Flammable Contact Cleaner and Conditioner: General contact cleaners are effective in washing away surface dirt, dust, and grime from surfaces, but prove ineffective for removing oxidation and metal sulfides. These tough contaminants actually attach to, and become an integral part of, the contact metal, causing reduced performance, system failures and increased service calls. The only true method of eliminating oxidation and surface sulfides is by chemical action and reaction, and that is what puts DeoxIT® products in a class by themselves. So when you want to do general cleaning and remove dust, dirt, and grime, and other surface contaminants, use a general flushing cleaner (CAIG part #DCC-V510, DDW-V610, DFW-V710). But when you need to safely cure contact related problems and dramatically improve equipment performance . . .CHOOSE DeoxIT®. Specific Product Overview: DeoxIT® D-Series contact cleaner dissolves oxides and sulfides that form on metal surfaces. This restores the contact-s integrity and leaves a thin microscopic layer that protects the metal. Special additives prevent dissolved oxides from re-attaching, keeping them in suspension and allowing them to be easily dispersed by the mechanical action of the contact. Product Features: Dissolves oxidation and corrosion Reduces intermittent connections Improves signal quality and data transfer speeds Reduces wear and abrasion Cleans, lubricates, and seals connections Reduces arcing and RFI Type: Non-Flammable Contact Cleaner & Conditioner Fill Volume: 162g (Aerosol) Odor Threshold: Ethereal/Hydrocarbon odor Boiling Point: 15°C (1,1,1,3,3-Pentafluoropropane) Melting Point: NA Vapor Pressure: 50 +/- 5 psig @ 20°C Appearance & Color: Aerosol, Light Red Shipping Class: ORM-D Manufacturer: DeoxIT®
