Four Diamond Grits on Two Stones The DMT Double-Sided 11 1/2" Dia-Sharp Kit packages four of the most useful diamond abrasive grits on two stones (that's two grits on each stone). It's such a useful range of grits, it may be the only kit you need. The grits are: 220 Grit Extra Coarse - For initial edge shaping or flattening chisel and plane blade backs. 325 Grit Coarse - For creating a good apex on any dull edge. 600 Grit Fine - For refining well-shaped edges. 1200 Grit Extra Fine - For creating refined cutting edges. Generous Sharpening Surface Each diamond sharpening surface in the DMT Double-Sided 11 1/2" Dia-Sharp Kit is 11 1/2" x 2 1/2". This size is great for anything you need to sharpen. For knife sharpeners, it's perfect for blades of all sizes. For woodworkers, it accommodates almost any chisel or plane blade and provides ample room for use of a Honing Guide as well. Dia-Sharp Technology Means Flat Sharpening The Dia-Sharp stones from DMT feature a continuous diamond surface embedded in a durable nickel coating on a steel base. The steel bases of the Dia-Sharp stones are precision-ground for extreme flatness, ensuring they stay level. This flatness is very useful for knives, and makes them particularly valued for woodworking chisels and plane blades Consistent Sharpening, Every Time The Dia-Sharp Kit’s continuous diamond surface guarantees flawless, even sharpening with every pass. The diamonds are evenly distributed across the stone to provide a consistent sharpening surface that is durable for years of effectiveness. Time-Efficiency for Serious Users With this kit, speed and effectiveness go hand in hand. Switch quickly between the four essential grits, from coarse to ultra-fine, to achieve a honed edge faster, on even the hardest steels, saving time for actually using your knives or tools. These stones mean less downtime and more time working at your best. Precision for Specialty Tools DMT’s unique diamond surface technology makes this kit the ultimate choice for sharpening specialty tools and blades that demand precision. Perfect for woodworkers, chefs, and outdoor professionals, this kit handles almost any tool, even those with the toughest sharpening requirements.
