DJI Obstacle Sensing Module (Matrice 4 Series)

DJI Obstacle Sensing Module (Matrice 4 Series): Precision Sensing for Safer Industrial Flight The DJI Obstacle Sensing Module enhances flight safety and precision for Matrice 4 Series and Matrice 4D Series aircraft. Using a combination of LiDAR and millimeter-wave radar technology, it enables precise obstacle sensing in complex environments. Designed for professional operations, it helps the aircraft detect and avoid thin structures such as 12 mm power grid wires and intricate substation layouts. Advanced Sensing Technology The module fuses LiDAR and radar data to improve obstacle recognition during low-altitude and close-range operations. It provides reliable detection in cluttered industrial areas, improving aircraft positioning accuracy and pilot awareness. By adding this module, operators gain enhanced distance measurement and obstacle feedback capabilities for safer and more controlled flight missions. Reliable Construction for Field Use Built for industrial deployment, the Obstacle Sensing Module operates within a temperature range of –20 °C to 50 °C and weighs approximately 225 to 235 g. The IP55-rated housing (when used on Matrice 4D Series) ensures durability in challenging environments. The module connects through the aircraft’s sensing expansion port and includes an adapter bracket for Matrice 4 Series installation.
