DJI Matrice 4TD Drone Only (Demo Unit)

DJI Matrice 4TD Aircraft Only (Demo Unit): IP55 Thermal Drone With 47-Minute Flight Time and Dock 3 Compatibility The DJI Matrice 4TD is DJI's dock-ready thermal enterprise aircraft built for 24/7 autonomous operations and demanding field deployments that require IP55 weather protection, integrated RTK positioning, and a full multi-sensor imaging stack in a fixed-arm airframe. Combining a 48 MP wide-angle camera at f/1.7, a 48 MP medium telephoto at 70 mm equivalent, a 48 MP telephoto at 168 mm equivalent with 112× hybrid zoom, a 640 × 512 uncooled VOx thermal imager with UHR resolution up to 1,280 × 1,024, a laser rangefinder reaching 1,800 m (5,905 ft), and a built-in NIR auxiliary light—all on a 3-axis stabilized gimbal with 80° upward tilt—the M4TD delivers the sensor depth of a much larger platform in a compact, dock-compatible airframe rated for operation from -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F). Key Features and Benefits IP55 protection: operates reliably in rain, dust, and temperatures from -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C). Dock 3 compatible: supports 24/7 autonomous operations with DJI Dock 3 when purchased separately. Thermal imaging: 640 × 512 uncooled VOx sensor with UHR mode up to 1,280 × 1,024 resolution. Integrated RTK: onboard RTK module delivers ±0.1 m horizontal positioning accuracy in RTK mode. O4+ Enterprise transmission: upgraded system with 25 km range (FCC) for extended operational reach. Upward gimbal tilt: -90° to 80° range supports under-bridge and overhead structure inspection angles. Hybrid zoom: 112× zoom on 48 MP telephoto resolves fine details from extended standoff distances. Anti-ice propellers: 1364F foldable low-noise anti-ice propellers support cold-weather operations. NIR auxiliary light: integrated illuminator provides 100 m near-infrared illumination for low-light missions. Standalone capable: pairs with DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise for manual piloted operations without Dock 3. This listing is for the aircraft only. This is a like-new factory demo unit with "DEMO UNIT NOT FOR SALE" permanently engraved on the aircraft body top panel in English and Chinese. This marking is cosmetic only and does not affect any flight system, camera, sensor, or software function. The aircraft is mechanically and electronically identical to a standard production M4TD. A flight battery and RC Plus 2 Enterprise controller are not included and must be purchased separately. For autonomous dock-based operations, DJI Dock 3 is also sold separately. The Matrice 4 Obstacle Sensing Module, which enables wire-level detection, is a separate accessory and is not included with this listing. A Dock-Ready Airframe Built for All-Condition Deployment The M4TD's core operational advantage over the standard M4T is its physical architecture. The fixed-arm IP55-rated airframe withstands rain, fog, and dust without protective covers or pre-flight weatherproofing steps, and its -20°C to 50°C operating range extends mission windows into cold environments where lighter platforms require grounding. The 1364F anti-ice propellers address icing conditions directly, while the integrated RTK module provides ±0.1 m horizontal positioning without a separate base station when connected to a network RTK service. When paired with DJI Dock 3, the M4TD supports fully automated 24/7 missions managed remotely through DJI FlightHub 2, with dock-based battery charging from 15% to 95% in 27 minutes. The gimbal's 80° upward tilt enables inspection angles that the standard M4T's 70° ceiling cannot reach, covering underside infrastructure, tower cross-members, and overhead cable runs without repositioning the aircraft. Compatibility and System Integration DJI Dock 3: enables 24/7 autonomous operations with 27-minute dock charging and IP56-rated enclosure. DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise: pairs with M4TD for standalone manual piloted operations without Dock 3. Matrice 4 Obstacle Sensing Module: LiDAR and five-direction mmWave radar with 12 mm wire detection at ≤15 m/s. DJI FlightHub 2: cloud-based platform for autonomous mission management, live view, and fleet coordination. DJI Pilot 2: standalone flight operations and mission planning app for RC Plus 2-based manual operations. DJI AL1 Spotlight: IP55-rated gimbal-following visible-light accessory for nighttime illumination operations. DJI AS1 Speaker: real-time voice broadcast accessory for ground communication during active missions. D-RTK 3 Multifunctional Station : base station, rover, and relay modes for precision RTK positioning. Applications and Use Cases Autonomous inspection: Dock 3 integration enables scheduled, unattended repeat-pass infrastructure inspection. Thermal overwatch: 640 × 512 VOx sensor with UHR mode supports public safety and wildfire monitoring operations. Cold-weather operations: IP55 airframe and anti-ice propellers sustain performance in sub-zero field conditions. Power line inspection: optional Obstacle Sensing Module detects 12 mm wires at flight speeds up to 15 m/s. Search and rescue: thermal detection and 112× zoom support nighttime subject location and identification. Vehicle-mounted deployment: Dock 3 mobile vehicle-mounting support enables rapid repositioning of the full system. The Matrice 4TD is built for programs that need a thermal aircraft ready to operate in conditions that standard drones cannot tolerate, and to do so autonomously when paired with DJI Dock 3. Its IP55 rating, integrated RTK, anti-ice propellers, and O4+ Enterprise transmission make it the most operationally resilient aircraft in the Matrice 4D Series lineup.
