DJI Goggles Immersive FPV Headset (CPPT000672)

Key features 1. Immersive, Low-Latency HD Viewing Feature: Receives a digital high-definition video feed (720p at 120fps) from compatible DJI drones like the Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom, Mavic Air, Spark, and Phantom 4 series. Benefit: Provides a crystal-clear, first-person-view (FPV) experience that feels like you're in the cockpit of the drone, far superior to analog FPV systems. 2. Dual Operating Modes Feature: Offers two primary ways to use the goggles: Head Tracking: Move your head to control the gimbal and camera movement on supported drones (e.g., Mavic 2, Mavic Air). This is incredibly immersive for looking around. Standard FPV: The goggles simply display what the drone's camera sees, with control still on the remote controller. 3. High-Resolution OLED Screens Feature: Two 1920x1080 screens (one for each eye) with a high refresh rate. Benefit: Delivers a sharp, vibrant, and smooth image, reducing the "screen door effect" common in older VR headsets. 4. OcuSync Transmission System Feature: Uses the same robust OcuSync transmission technology as the drones it pairs with. Benefit: Offers excellent range (up to several kilometers/miles in ideal conditions) and strong resistance to interference, maintaining a stable video link. 5. Built-in Control & Interface Feature: Has a built-in touchpad on the side for navigating menus, a 3.5mm headphone jack for private audio, and a microSD card slot for recording the flight view directly to the goggles. Benefit: You can control camera settings, playback footage, and change settings without taking off the goggles or touching your phone. 6. Adjustable IPD and Diopter Feature: The inter-pupillary distance (IPD) can be physically adjusted to match your eyes. Most critically, they have built-in diopter dials (-8.0D to +2.0D). Benefit: If you are near or far-sighted, you can often use the goggles without needing to wear your glasses, making them much more comfortable. 7. Compatibility Primary Use: Designed for the DJI consumer drone ecosystem (Mavic 2, Mavic Air, Spark, Phantom 4, Inspire 2). FPV Drone Use: Can be used with digital FPV drones using the DJI FPV Air Unit or DJI Caddx Vista, which also transmit using the DJI OcuSync system. This is a very popular use for them today.
