Dizzy Disc

The Dizzy Disc is a spinning, ride-on balance toy that gives children exactly what their bodies are asking for: sustained, controlled vestibular movement. Kids sit, kneel, or stretch across the wide textured surface and spin - building balance, core strength, and spatial awareness while doing something that simply feels like play. An adjustable base changes the angle of the spinning surface, so the challenge grows with the child. Whether it lives in a therapy clinic, a school sensory corner, or a family living room, the Dizzy Disc earns its place fast. The vestibular system - housed in the inner ear - governs how the body processes movement, gravity, and spatial orientation. When it's under-stimulated, children often seek that input themselves: spinning in circles, crashing into furniture, swinging aggressively. The Dizzy Disc channels that drive into something safe, purposeful, and deeply satisfying. The adjustable base angle is what separates the Dizzy Disc from a basic spin disc. A steeper angle demands more from the core - every rotation requires active balance correction, not just passive sitting. That makes it useful across a wide range of ability levels, from a young child learning to hold a stable seated position through rotation, to an older child or teen working on advanced vestibular processing and postural control. Adjustable angle - grows with the child Multiple slope settings let you dial in the right level of challenge. A gentle tilt for beginners; a steeper angle for children ready to work harder on core engagement and postural control. One toy, years of use. 150 lb capacity - works for bigger kids and teens Most spin discs top out at 50–100 lbs and age out quickly. The Dizzy Disc's 150 lb capacity keeps it relevant through elementary school and into adolescence - a meaningful advantage for therapy settings that serve a wide age range. Indoor and outdoor - built-in handle for easy moves The integrated carry handle makes it easy to move between rooms, bring outside, or transport to appointments. No storage box required - grab and go. Ways to Use the Dizzy Disc 🌀 Seated Spin Child sits cross-legged and uses hands or feet to generate rotation. Builds core stability and bilateral coordination in an intuitive, self-directed way. 🧎 Kneeling Spin Removes the seated base-of-support advantage, increasing postural demand noticeably. A natural next step once the child is confident seated. 🤸 Prone Position Child lies face-down while an adult rotates the disc slowly - excellent combined proprioceptive and vestibular input, especially useful in OT settings. 🧍 Standing (Supervised) Advanced users develop dynamic balance reactions and ankle stability. Recommended only with direct adult supervision. Sensory Diet Tip 2–3 minutes of Dizzy Disc spinning can serve as a regulating or alerting activity before seated tasks, depending on the child's individual sensory needs. Consult with an occupational therapist to determine the best fit for your child's sensory diet. • Adjustable base - multiple slope settings • 150 lb weight capacity • Textured non-slip top surface • Built-in carry handle • Indoor and outdoor use • No assembly required • Ages 3 and up • Durable plastic construction
