DIY Vanilla Extract Kits

There is something deeply satisfying about making your own vanilla extract. Watching a simple jar of beans and liquid slowly transform into something rich, dark, and fragrant over weeks and months. This DIY Vanilla Extract Kit gives you everything you need to do exactly that, right on your kitchen counter. Each kit includes six organic Madagascar vanilla beans, an 8oz swing-top glass bottle, a custom label for gifting or tracking your start date, and a laminated step-by-step instruction card with a clear timeline so you always know where you are in the process. Just add your liquid of choice — vodka for a clean, neutral extract, bourbon for warmth, rum for a touch of sweetness, or food-grade glycerin if you prefer alcohol-free, and let time do the rest. For the smoothest pour, we love using our Collapsible Silicone Funnel. It makes filling the bottle mess-free and folds flat for easy storage when you're done. Plan for about two to three months before your extract is ready to use, though the longer you wait, the deeper and more complex the flavor becomes. The beans can be topped off and reused for multiple batches, making this kit one that keeps giving long after the first pour. It makes a beautiful gift for the baker in your life, a fun project to do with someone you love, or simply a small, intentional thing to make for yourself. Order yours and start something that gets better with time.
