Leagues ahead of the popular and simplistic BlackTip TRAVEL, yet similar in size, the Dive Xtras CudaX TECH is often referred to as the compact "sports car of scooters". Do you find yourself wishing you had a DPV with you on your dives abroad? The Dive Xtras CudaX TECH underwater scooter was designed for easy packing and uses airline compliant batteries, ensuring you have propulsion when you need it most! An update on the iconic Cuda design, the CudaX TECH underwater scooter is the pinnacle of Dive Xtras innovation and engineering, offering advanced divers the opportunity to experience and traverse depths like never before! The Dive Xtras CudaX TECH DPV is Built for Rigorous Depths Pushing the limits or taking on dives in extreme environments? Having an underwater scooter is one thing, but like all dive gear, having the right gear that can perform under such conditions is crucial! The Dive Xtras CudaX TECH not only comes in shorter than the BlackTip TRAVEL, it weighs slightly heavier at only 28lbs but is also rated to handle an additional 200ft of depth! Yes, if there are some spots you have been looking to cruise or conduct some work in at around 550ft (168m) or less, the CudaX TECH is for you! Surpassing the requirements of nearly every dive you can think of, comes power output to match. With 8 preset speeds, including the new "Ludicrous" speed, the CudaX TECH has the ability to tow you at speeds up to 324ft/min, 1.64m/s, or 3.68mph, with a max thrust of 108lbs, or 480N! Enjoy increased efficiency, reduced torque, and reduced arm fatigue as this optimal speed is paired the newly and hydrodynamically designed arms that pre-swirl the water entering the airfoil shaped 4-bladed propeller! Worry of dive scooter motors overheating is a thought of the past! The Dive Xtras CudaX TECH's upgraded motor is housed in a sleek 6061 T6 aluminum body and utilizes a water-cooled direct drive motor, friendly to the chilly deep environments it was made for. Switching or adding a DPV to your dive gear mix often requires thinking about your trim. The beauty of the Dive Xtras CudaX TECH is that it comes pre-trimmed for neutral buoyancy, with a single removable stainless plate to switch between saltwater and freshwater diving! The Dive Xtras CudaX TECH Underwater Scooter Comes with All of the Desired Features So, you just purchased an underwater scooter. What accessories are must-haves for you prior to diving? The CudaX TECH leaves little more to be desired as Dive Xtras made sure to implement all of the latest and greatest features for you! Worried about integrity or seal of your DPV before dives? Often added or purchased separately as an after-thought, the Dive Xtras CudaX TECH features a built-in vacuum leak test system, making testing your scooter before your dive a breeze! Independently sealed motor and battery compartments by a pressure rated bulkhead, a sealed port plug can be removed allowing for a vacuum leak check of the entire dive scooter. You spoke and they listened! The CudaX TECH shines above others with its dual handle and trigger, allowing you full control of your underwater scooter without disrupting your dive experience! The front strap and bolt snap integrated into the scooter package, rather than being tacked on later. Even with these additions, the scooter remains perfectly trimmed and neutrally buoyant. For emergency safety or safer storage, cutting the power is now easier than ever as the CudaX TECH features a large external master switch! This magnetic design doesn't penetrate the hull and even includes a timer that automatically turns off the scooter if it hasn't been used for 20 minutes. The CudaX TECH continues to showcase Dive Xtras innovation with other features we have grown to love such as the compatibility with lithium power tool batteries, virtually silent brushless silent drive, user programable onboard computer with display, and their patented double click speed control. Configure Your Dive Xtras CudaX TECH to Your Liking Dislike the base settings and need to adjust your dive scooter to your specific use? You can set the number of preset speeds, adjust the power for each speed, and even control the acceleration rate. Prefer your CudaX TECH to resume your last speed or always start fresh? The choice is yours, and the customization options keep going. Customize then let the CudaX TECH's onboard computer manage and monitor every aspect of its performance, displaying essential information on its dual display.
