Dive Rite XT1 First Stage Regulator

Overview The Dive Rite XT1 First Stage Regulator is a high-performance balanced first stage designed for recreational, advanced, and technical diving configurations. Its balanced design provides consistent gas delivery as depth and cylinder pressure change, while a rotating turret and multiple hose ports give divers extensive flexibility when building a clean, streamlined regulator setup. The XT1 is constructed from brass with a durable black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating and is environmentally sealed to help protect internal components from contaminants, corrosion, and freezing conditions. Five low-pressure ports are positioned around the swivel turret, while two high-pressure ports are angled 90 degrees from the DIN or yoke connection for efficient gauge and transmitter routing. The XT1 is available with either a DIN or yoke cylinder connection. Best For Technical and advanced scuba diving Single-tank and multi-hose regulator configurations Divers who want flexible hose-routing options Backplate-and-wing and streamlined technical setups Divers who prefer an environmentally sealed first stage Recreational divers looking for a regulator platform with room to grow Key Features Balanced First Stage: Designed to provide consistent gas delivery regardless of depth or changing cylinder pressure. Swivel Turret: Rotating turret provides flexible hose positioning for streamlined regulator configurations. Five LP Ports: Five low-pressure outlets give divers extensive flexibility for primary and alternate second stages, BCD inflators, drysuit hoses, and other compatible low-pressure equipment. Two Angled HP Ports: High-pressure ports are positioned 90 degrees from the cylinder fitting to provide convenient routing for compatible pressure gauges and transmitters. Environmentally Sealed: Helps isolate internal components from water, contaminants, corrosion, and conditions that can contribute to freezing. Black DLC-Coated Brass: Brass regulator body features a black Diamond-Like Carbon coating for durability and a clean technical appearance. 140 PSI Intermediate Pressure: Factory specification provides the operating intermediate pressure for compatible downstream regulator components. DIN or Yoke Options: Available with either a threaded DIN connection or traditional yoke connection to suit different cylinder-valve setups. Specifications Brand: Dive Rite Model: XT1 Product Type: Balanced First Stage Scuba Regulator First Stage Design: Balanced Material: Black DLC-Coated Brass Environmental Seal: Yes Swivel Turret: Yes Low-Pressure Ports: 5 LP Port Thread: 3/8-24 UNF High-Pressure Ports: 2 HP Port Thread: 7/16-20 UNF / ISO 263 HP Port Orientation: Angled 90° from Cylinder Fitting Intermediate Pressure: 140 PSI Available Connections: DIN or Yoke Weight DIN Version: Approx. 1 lb 15.2 oz / 885 g Yoke Version: Approx. 2 lb 6.8 oz / 1,100 g Hose Routing The XT1 provides five low-pressure ports around a rotating turret, giving divers flexibility when positioning second-stage, inflator, and other compatible LP hoses. The two high-pressure ports are angled 90 degrees from the DIN or yoke connection to help position pressure gauges or compatible wireless transmitters without unnecessary hose clutter. DIN or Yoke Choose the connection style that matches your cylinder-valve setup. The DIN version threads directly into a compatible DIN valve, while the yoke version clamps over a compatible yoke-style cylinder valve. Only the selected connection configuration is included. Gas Compatibility The XT regulator system is designed for use with breathable compressed gas appropriate for scuba diving. Dive Rite also states that oxygen-compatible materials and assembly processes are used throughout the XT system, allowing use with oxygen-enriched mixtures when appropriate oxygen-clean procedures, materials, handling practices, and cylinder-opening procedures are followed. No specific maximum oxygen percentage should be assumed beyond the manufacturer's applicable guidance for the complete regulator configuration. Cold-Water Use The XT1 is environmentally sealed to help protect against internal contamination and freezing. Cold-water suitability depends on the complete regulator configuration and its applicable EN250 markings. Divers using regulators in cold water should follow Dive Rite's cold-water procedures and have the appropriate training for those conditions. What's Included One Dive Rite XT1 First Stage Regulator in the selected DIN or Yoke configuration Not Included Primary second-stage regulator Octopus or alternate second stage Low-pressure regulator hoses unless otherwise specified Pressure gauge or console Wireless pressure transmitter BCD or drysuit inflator hose Scuba cylinder FAQs Is the Dive Rite XT1 balanced? Yes. The XT1 uses a balanced first-stage design intended to provide consistent gas delivery as depth and cylinder pressure change. How many low-pressure ports does the XT1 have? The XT1 has five low-pressure ports positioned around a swivel turret for flexible hose routing. How many high-pressure ports are included? There are two high-pressure ports, each angled 90 degrees from the cylinder connection for convenient gauge or transmitter positioning. Does the first stage swivel? Yes. The five low-pressure ports are incorporated into a rotating turret that allows hoses to be positioned for a cleaner regulator configuration. Is the XT1 environmentally sealed? Yes. The environmental seal helps protect the first-stage mechanism from contaminants, corrosion, and conditions that can contribute to freezing. Can I choose DIN or yoke? Yes. The XT1 is available in DIN and yoke configurations. You will receive the connection style selected when ordering. Does this listing include a second stage? No. This listing is for the XT1 first stage only unless a complete regulator package is specifically stated elsewhere. Care & Maintenance Rinse the regulator thoroughly with fresh water after diving while keeping the first-stage inlet protected from water and debris. Allow it to dry completely before storage and keep the regulator in a cool, clean, dry location away from prolonged direct sunlight. Dive Rite recommends professional regulator service at least every two years or 100 dives by an authorized regulator technician. Expert Insight The XT1 is especially appealing to divers who care about hose routing. Five LP ports on a swivel turret combined with two angled HP ports provide considerably more configuration flexibility than a basic fixed-port first stage. That makes the XT1 well suited for streamlined recreational setups as well as more complex technical configurations where hose positioning can make a significant difference in comfort and organization.
