Uniform Particle Shapes The high-quality cast steel burrs in the 807 LAB SWEET grinder create a greater amount of fine particles and a smaller amount of coarse particles, resulting in more uniform and rounded particle shapes. These characteristics are associated with superior extraction outcomes. Unique Geometric Burrs These burrs guarantee an even distribution of particle sizes in the coffee grounds, resulting in a uniform extraction and enhanced sweetness in every cup. Its near-zero retention makes the Ditting 807 Lab Sweet ideal for both lab cuppings and serving up single portions at your local coffee spot. Quick-Clean Spout The upgraded detachable spouts on this coffee grinder make the cleaning process a breeze, ensuring that every part is easily accessible and can be thoroughly cleaned. The clean, centered coffee outlet creates a neat and professional appearance, perfect for any high-end establishment. Bag Clamp The high-end bag clamping lever and knocker unit are designed to guarantee minimal retention on the slide, ensuring that every last drop of coffee is efficiently extracted without any waste or mess. 80mm Flat Burrs The diameter of the burrs in coffee grinders, like those measuring 80mm, plays a vital role in producing top-notch coffee. These bigger burrs ensure a uniform grind by crushing coffee beans into evenly sized particles, greatly influencing the flavor of your drink. Maintaining the delicate taste of your coffee beans is essential, and larger burrs rotate at a slower pace, minimizing heat production and safeguarding the vital oils in the beans. This ensures that your espresso shot is rich in flavor and aroma. With their durable build and extended performance, larger burrs like the 80mm ones have a longer lifespan compared to smaller ones, ensuring a flavorful and predictable coffee experience. The grind life on these burrs is estimated at 3,000 kg. Dual Fan Cooling System The fan system is an essential component of coffee grinders, as it plays a vital role in maintaining performance and preserving coffee quality. Here's why it's important: Heat Reduction: Coffee grinding creates heat through the friction between the burrs and beans, which can negatively impact the flavor and aroma of the coffee. The dual fan system actively dissipates this heat to prevent the grounds from overheating during grinding. Consistent Extraction: Heat can affect the extraction process, causing premature release of volatile compounds from hot coffee grounds and leading to uneven extraction. The dual fan system maintains a consistent temperature to ensure balanced flavors in espresso shots. Shot Time Stability: In busy cafes, consistent shot times are crucial, but heat buildup can cause variations in grind particle size and extraction times. The dual fan cooling system minimizes these fluctuations, allowing baristas to maintain precise shot times even during peak hours. Reduced Recalibration: Grinders without proper cooling may require frequent recalibration due to temperature-induced changes in grind consistency. The dual fan system helps stabilize grind settings, reducing the need for constant adjustments. Longevity: Excessive heat can accelerate wear and tear on grinder components, but the dual fan cooling system helps maintain a lower temperature to contribute to the grinder's longevity. Stepless Grind Adjustments No matter the size, you will be able to dial your shots in with ease with the stepless adjustments to easily adjust your grind setting. With the fine-threaded stepless adjustment collar, you set the degree of fineness based on your preferences and your premium espresso beans. Stepless grinders differ from stepped grinders in that they do not have preset grind settings; instead, they feature a collar that you can rotate to adjust the grind size. This collar is usually marked with incremental lines or notches, providing a way to monitor the grind size.
