Disney The Rescuers - Jewel Edition Art

Disney’s The Rescuers tells the story of the Rescue Aid Society, an organization of mice from all over the world whose daily mission is to help all those in need. Having received a plea for assistance from Penny, an orphan, the Rescue Aid Society leaps into action. Bianca and Bernard, might be petite in stature, but they have the heart and tenacity to solve this case. They set out on the adventure to free young Penny from the clutches of the diabolical Madame Medusa and her brutish alligator henchmen, Nero and Brutus. Bianca and Bernard will need their intellect, and all the help they can get from the local swamp folk to save Penny, and to keep Madame Medusa from retrieving the diamond in Devil’s Eye. Thomas Kinkade Studios is proud to present Disney The Rescuers. © Disney Key Points: Disney The Rescuers is the first fine art collaboration between Disney and Thomas Kinkade Studios that captures the story of the 1977 Disney animated feature film. In the foreground we see Bianca and Bernard speeding away in Evinrude's leaf boat, as Orville, the albatross flies overhead. Ellie Mae, Luke, and the Swamp Folk save Penny from Madame Medusa, escaping the Devil's Bayou in the Swamp Mobile. A thwarted Madame Medusa can be seen on the riverboat with Mr. Snoops' fireworks exploding behind her. (Can you spot Mr. Snoops?) Madame Medusa's pet crocodiles look surprised as our heroes escape. Can you find the Devil's Eye, the jewel at the heart of this adventure?
