Disposable BBQ Cutting Board

Trim Meat With Ease and Clean Up Fast Using Our BBQ Cutting Board A Cutting Board That Fits in Your Cook Bag. Not Your Kitchen. You brought the rubs. You brought the injections. You brought the knives and the tongs and the spray bottle. And then you show up to the cook — a friend's backyard, a competition site, a tailgate lot — and the cutting surface is a paper plate or a cooler lid or whatever flat surface survived the drive. A real cutting board stays in the kitchen. It is heavy. It is bulky. It does not travel. A disposable cutting board goes where the cook goes and gets tossed when the work is done. No packing. No hauling. No scrubbing a board in a campsite sink that barely fits your hands. Water-Resistant. Foldable Edges. Built for Meat. These are not paper plates with a logo. Each sheet is thick enough to handle a full brisket trim — the surface holds up under a knife without shredding, without soaking through, and without sliding across the table. The water-resistant coating helps keep juices on top of the board instead of in it. Trim a brisket. Carve a pork shoulder. Break down a whole chicken. The board stays dry underneath. The edges fold up. That is the detail that matters. Juices from a rested brisket run. On a flat board, those juices roll off the edge and onto the table, the tailgate, the folding table at the comp site. Fold the edges up and the runoff stays contained. When the slicing is done, fold the edges higher and the board becomes a tray — carry the sliced brisket to the table in the same surface you cut it on. How to Use Them Lay a sheet flat on any surface — table, tailgate, cooler lid, competition folding table. If the surface is uneven, the board still works. Unfold the edges if you need runoff containment. Trim and slice. When the meat moves to the plate, fold the edges up, carry the board to the trash, and toss it. The surface underneath is clean. No washing. No sanitizing. No packing a wet board back into your vehicle. For competition, keep a stack on hand. Trim brisket on one. Slice on another. Pork on its own. Chicken on its own. Each protein gets a fresh surface. Each board gets tossed. No cross-contamination. No washing between categories. No minutes lost to cleanup when the turn-in clock is running. One pack holds 30 boards. That covers a competition season, a summer of tailgates, or a year of camping trips. Made in the USA. How It Fits in the Kit The Plastic Disposable Cutting Board Sheets are for the kitchen and the comp trailer — flat plastic sheets for raw and cooked separation on a fixed counter. Fast swap. Easy toss. The Disposable BBQ Cutting Boards are for the road. The tailgate. The campsite. The friend's house where the kitchen is too small and the cutting board has not been replaced since the Clinton administration. Water-resistant. Foldable edges. Portable. The board you bring when the cook is not at your house and the surface is whatever you brought with you. Discover the Convenience of the Disposable Cutting Board Ask the Pitmaster Ask the Pitmaster What is the difference between the Disposable BBQ Cutting Board and the Plastic Disposable Cutting Board Sheets? Butcher BBQ offers two disposable cutting surface options built for different use cases. The Plastic Disposable Cutting Board Sheets come on a 393-inch roll with a built-in cutter — they are designed for a fixed prep station like a competition trailer or home kitchen counter, where you cut the length you need and swap surfaces quickly between proteins. The Disposable BBQ Cutting Board is a pre-cut 18"x24" individual board with foldable edges — it is designed for portability, where you need a complete, ready-to-use cutting surface that travels flat in a cook bag, sets up on any surface without measuring or cutting, and folds into a tray for carrying sliced meat to the table. The roll sheets are the kitchen tool. The individual boards are the road tool. What do the foldable edges on the Disposable BBQ Cutting Board do? The foldable edges on Butcher BBQ Disposable BBQ Cutting Board solve the most common problem with flat cutting surfaces at outdoor cooks — juice runoff. A rested brisket releases a significant amount of liquid when sliced, and on a flat board that liquid runs to the edge and onto the table, the tailgate, or the competition folding table underneath. Folding the edges of the board up creates a containment wall that keeps the runoff on the board surface rather than running off the edge. When the slicing is done, fold the edges higher and the board becomes a tray — carry the sliced brisket from the cutting station to the serving table in the same surface you cut it on, with the juices contained inside. Toss the board when the meat is plated. The surface underneath is dry. Is the Disposable BBQ Cutting Board thick enough to handle a full brisket trim with a sharp knife? Butcher BBQ Disposable BBQ Cutting Board is designed for single-use meat prep — trimming, slicing, and carving — and is water-resistant rather than rigid. It is not as thick as a permanent plastic cutting board, which is the trade-off for portability and disposability. For a full brisket trim with a sharp boning knife, the board provides a stable, water-resistant surface that holds up through the trim without shredding or soaking through. It is not designed to absorb knife impact the way a thick plastic or wood board does — use a light touch and let the knife do the work rather than pressing hard into the board surface. For cooks who prefer more rigidity under the knife, placing the board on a flat, firm surface — a folding table, a cooler lid, a tailgate — provides the backing the board itself does not. How do you use the Disposable BBQ Cutting Board as a serving tray after slicing? After slicing brisket or portioning ribs on Butcher BBQ Disposable BBQ Cutting Board, fold all four edges upward to create a shallow tray with the sliced meat inside. The water-resistant surface contains the juices that accumulated during slicing, so the tray carries cleanly without dripping. Carry the tray to the serving table and set it down — the folded edges hold their position and keep the meat contained during the carry. For competition turn-in boxes, the board can be used to stage and arrange the slices before transferring them to the turn-in box, keeping the presentation surface clean and the slices organized. When the meat is plated or boxed, fold the board closed around the remaining juices and toss it — no cleanup, no wet surface left behind. How many Disposable BBQ Cutting Boards does a competition cook need per event? A competition BBQ cook running four categories — brisket, pork, ribs, and chicken — needs a minimum of eight boards per event: one for raw trimming and one for cooked slicing per category. In practice, most competition cooks use 10 to 12 boards per event — additional boards for injection prep, garnish staging, and turn-in box presentation work. The Butcher BBQ Disposable BBQ Cutting Board comes 30 per box, which covers two to three full competition events or an entire summer of tailgates and backyard cooks. Multiple reviewers specifically cite competition use as the primary reason they keep these on hand — the time saved on cleanup between categories when the turn-in clock is running is the most consistent reason competition cooks reach for disposable boards over permanent ones. How do you use disposable boards to manage a full competition cook sequence from raw trim to turn-in? Stack them. Start the cook day with four or five Butcher BBQ Disposable BBQ Cutting Boards on the prep table. Board one is for raw brisket trimming — fat cap, silverskin, shaping the flat. When the trim is done, that board goes straight into the trash. Board two is for raw pork shoulder and ribs. Board three is for raw poultry. Three proteins, three boards, zero cross-contamination risk, and you never had to stop and sanitize a permanent board between proteins. When the meat comes off the smoker and it is time to slice for the turn-in box, pull a fresh board — board four. Slice the brisket. Arrange the slices. The board stays clean because it came out of the package thirty seconds ago. If you are cooking all three proteins for turn-in, pull a fresh board for each one. The sanitation judge is not looking at your prep table, but a competition cook who runs a clean site runs a calm site. Disposable boards stacked on the table mean the only thing you wash between proteins is your hands and your knife. The sequence is trim on fresh, slice on fresh, toss, move on. No hesitation. No contamination. No dirty board in the background of your turn-in photos. Can you slice and serve directly on the disposable board, and how do you dispose of it responsibly? Yes. The Butcher BBQ Disposable BBQ Cutting Board is food-grade and clean right out of the package. You can slice a rested brisket on it, arrange the slices, and set the board directly on the serving table. For a backyard gathering, that means the cutting board is also the serving platter. Guests slice off what they want. When the meal is over, the board — with whatever fat, juice, and scraps are left — rolls up and goes into the trash. No washing. No carrying a grease-covered board back through the house to the kitchen sink. For disposal, the board is polyethylene and accepted by most municipal recycling programs if it is scraped clean of heavy fat and meat residue. If it is too greasy for recycling — which it usually will be after a brisket slicing session — it goes in the regular trash. The material breaks down faster than a permanent board that ends up in a landfill because it is thinner and less dense. The environmental trade-off is a thin sheet of polyethylene versus the water, soap, and sanitizer you would use to wash a permanent board after every protein. For competition cooks who go through gallons of water just cleaning equipment, the math favors the disposable. Use it. Serve on it. Toss it. The next board in the stack is clean and waiting.
