Discraft ESP Buzzz

The Discraft Buzzz in ESP plastic is the stable midrange we sell more of than any other disc in the shop, and ESP is the plastic most of it moves in. Discraft's most famous mold holds almost any line you put on it, which is why it ends up in beginner bags and pro bags alike. Flight Numbers: 5 / 4 / -1 / 1 ESP is Discraft's grippy, non translucent premium blend, tacky enough to hold on to in the rain without feeling gummy. It beats in slowly, so a fresh ESP Buzzz runs a hair stable and takes a season of rounds before it settles into the dead straight flight the numbers promise. That slow break in is why keeping two on hand, at different stages of wear, makes sense. Thrown flat it holds a neutral line for most of the flight and finishes with a short, gentle fade instead of flipping over. On a hyzer it stays on that hyzer, and as an approach shot inside 150 feet it turns into a floaty upshot that lands soft instead of skipping past the basket. Into a headwind it does not flip the way lighter rimmed midranges do. New players learn what a clean release looks like, and forehand throwers like the beadless rim in the hand. Need it to hold up longer and stay stable even further into its life? The Discraft ESP FLX Buzzz is a bendier take on the same mold. If you like a smaller rim with a bit more glide, the Axiom Neutron Hex is the closest thing from another brand. See every version in our stable midrange discs collection. Speed 5, glide 4, turn -1, fade 1. Diameter 21.7 cm, rim width 1.2 cm, max weight 180 g.
