Discovering the Essential Self

Join Eckhart Tolle for eight sessions of practical guidance in transforming a “problematic” life through the power of Presence. Millions of people slog through life burdened by an inescapable sense of unease and dissatisfaction. You know the feeling: that nagging certainty that something vital is missing, or the pain and frustration you experience when your relationships, achievements, or possessions let you down. Or maybe you’re just exhausted by endless to-dos and a mind that never stops. Eckhart Tolle knows what you’re going through. In the years leading up to the writing of his international bestseller, The Power of Now, Eckhart struggled with extreme anxiety, depression, and unhappiness. With Discovering the Essential Self, he shares an eight-part program of breakthrough teachings and accessible approaches to find the meaning and fulfillment you’ve been seeking, right here in the present moment. This program includes: Session One: Eckhart invites you to “start with stillness,” let go of unnecessary suffering, and rise above the egoic self Session Two: Learn how to see through the delusion of the mind-made identities we trap ourselves in and awaken from “spiritual sleep” Session Three: Drawing on his signature metaphor of “the ripple and the ocean,” Eckhart points us to the timeless, vastness of Being that is our most essential nature Session Four: Eckhart discusses the primacy of the present moment and how what we do should never take precedence over how we do it Session Five: Discover a world that is intensely alive—and the formless realm that makes it all possible Session Six: An invitation to the “vertical dimension” to reclaim consciousness from thought and remain open to the fullness of the Now Session Seven: Learn to work with your physical form as a gateway to a fully embodied experience of Presence Session Eight: Eckhart reveals how we can accelerate our journey of awakening through a new understanding of the challenges we face
