Discos Double Round Brass Sharpener - M+R

Möbius + Ruppert's Discos Double Round Brass Sharpener features two blades and is best for graphite and colored pencils. One blade yields a "standard cone" for pencils 8mm wide, the other yields a "short cone" for pencils 11mm wide. Manual brass pencil sharpeners from M + R exemplify the highest quality and product aesthetics in the premium writing segment. When they say "Made in Germany" they mean it! Mobius + Ruppert's sharpeners are conceived, designed, and manufactured in Germany.  Made from durable solid brass, this sharpener embodies the simple, utilitarian design that we look for as purveyors. With built-to-last construction and a blade bed that can be replaced if necessary, this offers a more sustainable alternative to cheaply-made plastic pencil sharpeners.  Blades can be replaced indefinitely with these Steel Replacement Blades, meaning your Dux sharpener can last for years, effectively replacing dozens of plastic alternatives over its lifetime.  Materials:  brass Made by: Möbius + Ruppert Made in: Erlangen, Germany Specifications:  1" diameter x 0.5" high Further Reading:  For more than 100 years, the Möbius + Ruppert brand has stood for premium quality pencil sharpeners and drawing instruments. Theodor, the brother of one of the company founders, was the first to industrially manufacture a sharpener in 1908 - the cone-shaped design would lay the foundation for all subsequent sharpeners. This family-owned business is now in its fourth generation and continues to uphold the values on which its industry expertise in Erlangen – in the heart of the European pencil industry – were originally based.
