Dischidia ovata 'One Stripe' (2-Pack)

Dischidia ovata 'One Stripe' Fresh cutting as seen in the photo. Each cutting is selected with the necessary stem, node, rhizome, or growth mass required for propagation. Dischidia ovata 'One Stripe' is a distinctive cultivated form of Watermelon Dischidia prized for its small oval foliage marked with a single crisp stripe down the center of each leaf. Its compact trailing habit, close relationship to Hoyas, and appreciation for warm, humid conditions make it a favorite among houseplant collectors and an excellent addition to hanging baskets, mounted displays, terrariums, and indoor tropical plant collections. Mature Size: Vines can exceed 1–3+ ft (0.3–0.9+ m) in length under ideal conditions, forming dense trailing or climbing growth over time. Difficulty: Easy to Moderate Rarity: Rare ⭐⭐⭐   Plant Care Light: Bright, indirect light; avoid harsh direct sun, though brighter indirect light may encourage stronger coloration. Water: Allow the growing medium to become slightly dry between waterings. Avoid soggy conditions, especially when grown mounted or in a small container. Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity (50–70%+). Temperature: Prefers 65–85°F (18–29°C). Soil: Well-draining epiphytic mix, such as orchid bark, sphagnum moss, perlite, and organic matter, or mount on cork, wood, Hygrolon, EpiWeb, or another suitable humid surface.   Propagation Dischidia ovata 'One Stripe' is readily propagated from stem cuttings containing at least one node. Because it is a cultivated form, propagation by cuttings preserves the distinctive single-stripe foliage pattern of the parent plant. Place cuttings in moist sphagnum moss, water, or a well-draining propagation mix until roots develop, then pot into an epiphytic mix or attach to a suitable mounted surface.   Safe Arrival Guarantee Your order is packed carefully.
