The dimension given is for the distance between mounting surfaces when assembled. A quick change spindle assembly is slightly heavier than a standard hub assembly, but this can be a great option if you already have wheels setup to work with quick change spindles. Quick change nuts are included. Feel free to reach out to us if you need custom spacers for your application.
